Intimate In Home 1920's Inspired Boudoir | La Rousse Boudoir
Oh, be still our women embracing hearts. This intimate boudoir session has set our soul on fire. Kaite with La Rousse Boudoir is sharing an showstopping babe today, and we're loving it. Here is what she had to say:
Shauna is a babe of a friend of mine from childhood, and we recently reconnected because we both live in the same LA neighborhood. One night she invited me over for wine with some girls, and I was totally inspired by her apartment! It's a cozy 1920's one-bedroom, where she lives with her cat and puppy Frannie. First off, I love a woman who lives by herself. It fosters a unique kind of independence, and you can really see a person reflected in her own space. I love showcasing home details alongside portraits, because it tells more of a story of what that person is all about.
So, back to Shauna. I asked her if she'd be up for some at-home portraits, and she was instantly in. Got to love the fellow creatives out there! Shauna likes vintage thrifted slips, kimonos with fringe, and lighting sage on a Sunday afternoon. She makes tea for her guests, wears dark lipstick all day every day, and has her paintings on display throughout the apartment. All this I might never have known about her if we shot this boudoir-inspired portrait session anywhere else.
